Kenyan Arabica Coffee Beans - Medium Roast

100% Arabica · Single Origin · Grown in Kenya · Roasted Weekly in Atlanta

Smooth, balanced, and our most versatile roast. Milk chocolate and caramel, lifted by the ripe berry that Kenyan coffee is known for. It is sweet enough to drink black and has the body to take milk.

If you are new to Kenyan coffee, or want one bag that suits everyone in the house, this is the one.

Tasting notes

•      Blackcurrant and stone fruit

•      Milk chocolate and caramel

•      A smooth, medium body

•      A clean, tea-like finish that stays bright as it cools

Where it comes from

Every bean is grown on Kirenge Farm in Kiambu County, Kenya, which our family has farmed since the 1950s. The coffee grows at 1,500 to 1,800 meters on red volcanic soil, where slow ripening gives it natural sweetness. It is single-origin, single-farm Kenya AA Arabica, traceable from our farm to your cup.

Roasted weekly

We roast in small batches every week in Atlanta and ship within 48 hours.

Brews best as

•      Drip: an easy daily cup with consistent results.

•      Pour-over: brings out the fruit and clarity.

•      French press: a fuller, more chocolatey body.

•      Cold brew: a naturally sweet concentrate.

Available in

Whole bean or ground. Single 12 oz bag, 2-pack or 3-pack.

Caffeine

This is 100% Arabica coffee, so its caffeine is in the normal range for coffee. Brewed coffee averages about 96 mg per 8 oz cup. By weight, all three of our roasts have the same caffeine.
