Kirenge Gold Light Roast is crafted to let Premium Kenyan Arabica beans speak for themselves. Did you know that light roast retains slightly more caffeine per scoop than dark roast? The longer a bean roasts, the more caffeine it loses. Which means Kirenge Gold Light Roast, our brightest, most vibrant cup, is also the highest-caffeine option in our range, at approximately 175–200mg per 8oz.
Grown at 1,500–1,800m on the red volcanic soils of Kirenge Farm, our SL-28 and SL-34 arabica is harvested at full ripeness and roasted lightly to preserve everything the highland terroir developed: bright citrus acidity, complex fruit character, and a clean sweetness that makes this the coffee of choice for pour-over enthusiasts.

Brews Best As
- Pour-over (V60 or Chemex) - best for revealing citrus clarity and fruit complexity; use 93–96°C water.
- Aeropress - clean, bright cup with excellent caffeine extraction.
- Drip coffee - reliable and easy; grind medium-fine for best results.
